Our cleaning service is a full strip down, not a quick blast of compressed air through the vents. Every fan, heatsink and dust trap is cleaned by hand, the thermal compound is replaced, and the console is tested under load before it goes back to you.
Signs Your Console Needs a Clean
Loud Fans
The fan is the first thing to change. If it spins up within minutes of loading a game, it is working harder than it should because the heatsink is blocked.
Overheating and Shutdowns
A console that shuts itself down mid-game is protecting itself from heat. Dust and tired thermal compound are behind most of these shutdowns.
Hot Air and Warm Casing
If the exhaust air is hot and the case is warm to the touch, the heat is not escaping properly. Left alone, that shortens the life of the console.
Years of Use With No Service
Consoles are never cleaned by most owners. If yours is two or more years old and has never been opened, it is due a service.

PS5 Deep Clean and Liquid Metal Service
The PS5 uses liquid metal rather than ordinary thermal paste, and over time it can dry out or spread unevenly. We clean the console out completely and re-spread or replace the liquid metal, which is what brings the temperatures and the fan noise back down.

Xbox Deep Clean and Thermal Paste Service
Xbox consoles pull a lot of dust in through the base and out of the top vent, and the factory thermal paste hardens with age. We clean the whole unit and apply fresh thermal paste so the heat can escape again.

Every console is tested before it is handed back, so you are not relying on hope. We also check the disc drive while the console is apart, and if we find a fault rather than a dust problem we will quote for it separately through our PS5 repair or Xbox repair service.

All prices are starting from. The exact cost will be confirmed after the £20 diagnostic, before any work begins.
Book your clean online with the standard £20 diagnostic fee to secure your drop-off slot. The fee comes off the total price, so you pay the remaining £40 when you collect your console. The booking fee is non-refundable.
If we find a fault while your console is open, we will tell you what it needs and what it costs before doing any further work.

How much does console cleaning cost?
Cleaning is £60 for a PS5 or an Xbox, covering the full strip down, the internal clean and the liquid metal or thermal paste replacement. You pay the £20 diagnostic fee when you book, and the remaining £40 when you collect.
How often should I clean my console?
Every two years is about right for most people. If your console sits on carpet, lives in a cabinet or shares a house with pets, once a year is more sensible.
Will a clean stop my console overheating?
In most cases, yes. Dust and tired thermal compound cause the majority of overheating and shutdown problems, though a failing fan or power supply will need a repair instead. We will tell you which one you are dealing with.
Do I lose my games or saved data?
No. Cleaning does not touch the storage drive, so your games, saves and account details stay exactly as they are.
How long does a console clean take?
Most cleans are done the same day, depending on how busy the workshop is. We will give you a collection time when you book your slot.

Phoned up Simon as xbox kept turning off. Left it with him & within about 2hrs had a call saying all done. Simon showed me pictures what the problem was & while there did a full service on it. When I got it back looked as good as new. Have been on it... alot since getting it back working better than ever & no turning itself off.
